Founded in autumn 2020 on the initiative of a Collective of European citizens, the Defendons l'Europe movement works for a strong and independent Europe. Active member of this collective, Jean-Marc Israël , who is completing a career as a statistician in central banks (Banque de France and ECB), explains the foundations and DNA of this movement.
